WELCOME to Historic Richland Baptist Church, a legendary landmark in middle Georgia for almost 200 years. For the first 100 years, the building served as a place of worship to fulfill the spiritual needs of families in the community. Today this historic place hosts an annual church homecoming, and other private and public religious, cultural and educational events, consistent with the mission of the Richland Restoration League, Inc.

Old Richland Church – Roof Fundraiser 2024
Join us in preserving a piece of history!
Old Richland Church stands as a testament to our community’s heritage. Its weathered walls have witnessed countless gatherings, and Sunday sermons. However, time has taken its toll and our mission is to preserve this legacy moving forward! The church’s roof is in dire need of replacement. Decades of rain, wind, and sun have left it vulnerable. But that’s not all—the plaster on the inside of the ceiling also bears the scars of past leaks.
Why We Need Your Help:
- Roof Replacement: Our goal is to replace the ageing roof with a new roof that will protect the church for generations to come.
- Interior Repairs: The water damage has affected the plaster on the ceiling. We’ll restore it to its former glory, ensuring that the church remains a welcoming space for worship and reflection.
